Mangoes are rich in potassium, magnesium and vitamins B & C. They contain natural beta-carotene, an antioxidant, and their minerals help treat muscle contraction and tension. More than 20 varieties of mangoes are found in South Asia, among which Chaunsa is the most popular due to its high nutritional value, rich succulent taste and distinct enticing aroma. At Shakarganj, the juicy pulp of Chaunsa mangoes is used for making purée that has a fibreless texture and is adorned with a deep golden colour and aromatic sweet taste.. Shakarganj produces purée during peak summer from the end of June till late August, and almost the entire stock is exported
